Thomas M. Reilly, 81, of West Pittston, passed away on Wednesday, February 16, at his daughter Susan Reilly’s home.

He was born in Wilkes-Barre, son of the late Thomas C. Reilly and Mary Coyne Reilly. Thomas was a 1959 graduate of St. Mary’s School. He enlisted in the United States Army National Guard 109th and was an optician at Garden Village Optical. He enjoyed fishing, motorcycles, and was a singer in the Barber Shop Quartet. Thomas was a member of the New Apostolic Church.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Carol, son Tom, and brothers, Michael and Pat Reilly.

Surviving are his children Susan, Nora and David Reilly of W Pittston, and Scott Reilly of Wilkes-Barre. His brother Robert Reilly of Berwick, sisters Molly Reilly of Plains, Kathleen Dempsey of Forty Fort, Nancy Reilly VanWhy of Ashley, and Noreen Reilly Romanchick of Swoyersville. He will be missed by his niece and nephew, and especially by his grandchildren Susy and Sara, and his great grandchildren Luke, Lila and Stella.

The funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family from the Metcalfe Shaver Kopcza Funeral Home, 504 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming.
