TERESA MERCAVITCH, 88, formerly of Old Forge passed away Tuesday morning in Highland Manor Rehabilitation and Nursing Center of Exeter.

Born in Pittston she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Viola (Marinelli) Falzone. Prior to her retirement she was employed by the Human Development Agency for Weatherization of Lackawanna County.

Preceding her in death was her husband Raymond Mercavitch in 2005, brothers Arnold Falzone and Benjamin Falzone and sister Erma Marinelli.

Surviving is her son; Christopher Mercavith and his wife Sherry, Exeter; daughter; Debbie Mercavitch, Old Forge; sister; Dorothy Borgia, Scranton; brother; Angelo Falzone, Hartford Ct; 4 grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family from the Metcalfe Shaver Kopcza Funeral Home Inc 504 Wyoming Avenue Wyoming.

Entombment will be in the Italian American Cemetery, Scranton
