Shirley M. Wall

Shirley M. (Shupp) Wall, 84, of Centermoreland, passed away Saturday, November 19 at her daughter’s home in Hanover Twp., surrounded by the love of her family.

She was the daughter of the late John and Ruth (Nafus) Shupp. Shirley attended Beaumont School until she was in 12th grade, when she switched to Dallas School, where she graduated in 1956. She was employed as a School Bus Driver by Tunkhannock School District for 35 years. She was a member of Centermoreland United Methodist Church, and a past member of the Northmoreland Township Volunteer Fire Department.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her beloved husband of 55 years, Harold E. Wall, her siblings; Leslie, John, Clifford (Skip) and Pearl Shupp, Freda Woolbert, Margaret (Peg) McCarty, and Audrey Rogers. Shirley was also predeceased by her much-loved dogs, Junno and Peaches.

Surviving are her children Sharon Wall and her partner Beth Hartman of Hanover Township, Greg Wall and his wife Marci of Mehoopany, Brian Wall and wife Amy of Dallas, and grandchildren; Jourdn and Jessie Wall.

Many heartfelt thanks to Beth for the care and compassion she gave to mom in the last few months of her life.

The services will be at the convenience of the family through the Nulton Kopcza Funeral Home, 5749 S R 309, Beaumont, Monroe Township.

Interment will be at Memorial Shrine Park.
