Phyllis Kruszewski Bella, 91, West Brady St., West Wyoming passed away Sunday, June 12, 2022, at PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Wilkes-Barre surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Wyoming, Pa on September 19, 1930, the daughter of the late Edmund and Eva (Zavacki) Kruszewski and graduated from Wyoming Memorial High School in 1948. While in high school she participated in junior/senior plays, library and Spanish clubs and was in band color guard.
After graduation, she was employed by Emkay Manufacturing, W. Wyoming, among other places. In her later years, she worked at Cookie Corner Nursery-Day Care caring for infants and toddlers.
On September 15, 1956, she married Francis B. Bella in St. Joseph’s Church, Wyoming. They built their own home in West Wyoming and raised six children. She lived there the remainder of her life. She was a proud homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, gardening, cooking and making pressed flower pictures that she sold at craft shows with her husband. She loved to cut the grass.
She was preceded in death by her husband Francis, who died on October 2, 2003.
Surviving are her children: David (Pongpan), Cincinnati, Oh.; Stephen (Audrey) England, UK.; Paul, Wilkes-Barre; Evelyn Gaspar (Frank), Stillwater; Jason (Shari), Exeter; and Jeffry (Michelle), Bloomsburg. Her sister, Janet Wasson, of West Wyoming, also survives her as do nine grandchildren; Tiffany, Adam, Eric, Ivory, Ethan, Noah, Katherine, Justin and Ryan.
She was a member of St. Monica Parish.
In Lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
The blessing service will be held at the Metcalfe Shaver Kopcza Funeral Home, 504 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming on Saturday, June 18 at 11 am.
Interment will be in St Joseph’s Cemetery, West Wyoming.
Friends may call on Saturday, June 18 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in the funeral home.

I remember a few years back I parked my horse trailer in front of your mom’s house. Then went to ride with some friends up the back. It was so good to see her then. She always had a smile. She will always be in your hearts and your memories and in mine also.
