Michael T. Chiampi

Michael T. Chiampi, 93, of Wyoming passed away, Monday September 19 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born in Exeter he was the son of the late Michael and Antoinette (Carpenter) Chiampi. He was educated in Exeter Schools. Michael worked all his life at his family’s business, Joe Johns Service Center formerly of Exeter.
He was a member of the St. Michael the Archangel Byzantine Catholic Church, Pittston.

He was preceded in death in 2020 by his beloved wife Ethel (Fenner) Chiampi, brothers, Joseph, Ralph, Carmen, Charles, Albert, sister Anna Chiampi Bartnicki, niece, Nancy Chiampi Kulick and nephew Edward (Ted) Chiampi.

Surviving are his nieces and nephews.

The Panachida service will be on Saturday, September 24, 11:00 AM at Metcalfe Shaver Kopcza Funeral Home, 504 Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, Rev. Andrii Dumnych, celebrant.

Entombment will be in Denninson Cemetery, Swoyersville.
