Maureen Morgan, 55, of Kingston passed away on Monday, 05/09/2022 at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia.
Maureen was a vibrant and loving spirit with an infectious laugh and a real lust for life. She touched the lives of so many people during her time as owner and stylist at Lake Street Hair Salon in Dallas, PA. She had the gift of bringing joy and laughter wherever she went, and a sense of humor that went unmatched by many. She loved to travel and take trips to the beach, where she could lie in the sun. Maureen was a talented singer, and she was always the life of any party; she was truly loved by all who knew her, even if they were just briefly acquainted.
To her two daughters she was a hard working and loving mother, who specialized in making the most out of every holiday and special occasion. She imparted upon on them her creativity and love for all things festive. Her children are left with a lifetime of memories, highlighted by 30 years of festive holidays, days spent with their mother at her salon, and trips to Lancaster County, one of the family’s favorite destinations.
She is survived by her twin daughters, Markie Morgan of Pringle, and Lorena Grohoski of Kingston, along with their partners Briar Moore and Zachary Grohoski. She also leaves behind her newborn granddaughter Violet Eileen Moore, along with siblings Bonnie Ann Cavanaugh and Husband Patrick, Lorena Langan and husband Brian, Donald Sipple and wife Susan, Larry Brobst and wife Karen, and her sister Tammy Burke.
Maureen also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She also leaves behind her beloved dogs, Tucker and Oliver. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Larry Clark Brobst and Grace Ann Brobst, along with stillborn son Justin Daniel Morgan, and her twin sister Molly Brobst.
A public viewing is to be held at Nulton Kopcza Funeral Home,5749 SR 309 Beaumont, Monroe Twp., PA on Sunday 05/15/2022 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm.
Funeral services will be held at Nulton Kopcza Funeral Home at 11:00am on Monday 05/16/2022.
Interment will be at Orcutt Grove Cemetery, Noxen.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please donate to Blue Chip Animal Refuge in her honor.
