MARY ANN CAVANAUGH

MARY ANN CAVANAUGH, 63, of Moosic passed away Saturday February 26, 2022, in Hospice of the Sacred Heart Inpatient Unit of Dunmore after a battle with cancer.
Born in Scranton she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Verna (Scygelski) Patchcoski. She was a graduate of Bishop Klonowski High School. For many years she was employed in tech support at Flowserve of Moosic. Maryann loved to workout at Anytime Fitness, participate in Zumba, vacationing at the beach, spending time with family and friends and especially her grandchildren. She loved pets and going to theme parks.
Surviving are her children; Ryan Cavanaugh and his wife Brittany, Avoca; Kayla Cavanaugh, Tampa Florida; grandchildren; Braylon and Arianna Cavanaugh; brothers; John Patchcoski, Tampa, Fl.; Ed Patchcoski, Tunkhannock; Joe Patchcoski, Dunmore; Rich Patchcoski, Scranton; several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday March 2, 2022, at 10am in St. Ann Monastery Basilica Parish, 1233 St. Ann Street, Scranton, Pa 18504 with Father Richard W. Burke C.P. celebrant.
Family and friends are asked to go directly to the church the morning of mass.
Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Moosic.
