MARION R. SAUNDERS, 100, formerly of Wyoming passed away Sunday in Wesley Village, Jenkins Twp

Born in Wyoming, she was the daughter of the late Archibald and Marion (Haldeman) Ramage. She was a graduate of Wyoming High School class of 1939. Her life revolved around the Wyoming United Methodist Church where she was involved with Sunday school class events, served on many committees, and was the church historian into her 90’s. She helped with the church dinners and high school reunion planning until she moved to Wesley Village in 2013. She was also a member of Eastern Star, Irem Temple Women’s Auxillary, and the Rotary Anns.

Preceding her in death were her husband R. Harold Saunders 1994, sister E. Alice Ramage Christ, stepmother Henrietta Rhoades Ramage.

Surviving is her daughter Janice Saunders and her husband Alan Stephenson of Sedona,AZ; grandchildren; Cindy Stephenson Staab and Diane Stephenson Kamidoi both of Denver

Funeral service will be at the convenience of the family from the Metcalfe Shaver Kopcza Funeral Home Inc 504 Wyoming Avenue Wyoming with the Rev. Carol Coleman of the Wyoming United Methodist Church officiating.

Interment will be in the Wyoming Cemetery.

There will be no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Assoc ( act.alz.org ) or the Wyoming United Methodist Church, 376 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, PA 18644.
