Krista Facciponti, 49, of Wyoming, passed away on Monday, February 13 at her home.
She was born in Wilkes-Barre, daughter of Carl Homish (Mary Anne) of Pittston Twp., and Laneda Weir Alba (Tony) of Pittston. Krista was a 1991 graduate of Pittston Area High School. Krista took great joy in being a stay-at-home mom. She loved decorating, crafting, being outdoors, and hosting parties. She especially loved spending time with her two daughters.
Krista was predeceased by her brother Todd Homish and step-father “Poppy” Tony Alba.
Surviving in addition to her parents and her beloved husband of 30 years, Jason Facciponti, are her daughters Sophie Facciponti of Wyoming and Chaslyn Facciponti Morales (Jhonathan) of Washington, D.C. Sister Laura Lin Alba (Chris) of Pittston, mother-in-law, and father-in-law Helen and Herbert Facciponti of Falls, and sister-in-law and brother-in-law Cheri and Ronald Shaver of Exeter, and her nephews Anthony and Austin Shaver, her aunt and uncle Loris and John Cummings of Hughestown, and her many beloved cousins.
The Celebration of her Life will be on Sunday, February 19, 2:30 PM at Metcalfe Shaver Kopcza Funeral Home., Inc. 504 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming.
Friends and family may call on Sunday from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the funeral home.
