Kathryn Webb

Kathryn Webb, (Taylor) 79, of Pittston, passed away on Saturday, July 3rd, 2022, peacefully following a brief illness.

Kay was born in Philadelphia on October 27th, 1942, daughter to the late Mary (Doran) and Walter Taylor. She cherished her memories of growing up in Roslyn, surrounded by family and friends. She graduated from Gwynedd Mercy Academy in 1960 and attended Wheeling College for English. She worked for many years as a reporter at the The Bucks County Courier Times, The Montgomery Post and The Saturday Evening Post. She loved traveling in her spare time, taking driving trips across the United States and Canada.

Kay enjoyed puzzles, was an avid reader, and loved to write poetry. She was devoted to her children and grandchildren.

Most remarkable and rare was her immensely compassionate and giving nature. Kay quietly and selflessly aided others, even during difficult personal times.

In addition to her parents, Kay was preceded in death by her older sister, Joanne Kostos. She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Rossi (Kevin) and Christine Orluk (John), four grandchildren and her dear friend, Harmon Webb.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
