June M. Weed

June M. Weed, 83, of Centermoreland passed away Friday, January 27 at Allied Services Hospice Center, Wilkes-Barre.

She was born in Wilkes-Barre, daughter of the late Charles and Pearl (Judge) Weed. June was a 1958 graduate of West Wyoming High School. She was employed by Lori’s Sportswear in Falls as a seamstress. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Wyoming.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Linda Stahl and brother Charles Weed, Jr.

Surviving are her children; Melanie (Remetz) Killian and husband Robert of Northmoreland, and Stephen Remetz of Harveys Lake, sisters; JoAnn Kyttle and husband Clinton of Centermoreland and Sharon Menton and husband Robert of Greenville, South Carolina, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

The Memorial Service will be on Thursday February 2, 11AM at Metcalfe Shaver Kopcza Funeral Home, 504 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, Rev. Carol Coleman officiating.

Interment will be in Memorial Shrine Cemetery, Carverton.

Friends may call on Thursday, February 2, from 10AM-11AM, at the funeral home.
