Joseph A. Pineno, 82, West Creek, New Jersey passed away on Sunday, October 16. surrounded by the love of his family.

Joseph was Born in Wyoming PA. He was the son of the late Thomas J. and Jenny (Soldano) Pineno. He was a graduate of Wyoming High School, Class of 1957. Joseph went on to join the United States Navy and proudly served his country for 4 years before being honorably discharged. He was then employed for 35 years as an Electrical Maintenance Manager for General Motors, Linden Assembly, before retiring in 1999. He was a member of the St Mary’s of the Pines Church, Manahawkin, NJ.
Joseph loved spending time with his family. He loved to garden, working out in the yard and maintaining his many fig trees. He also enjoyed making his homemade wine with the family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Thomas Pineno, and his brothers; Thomas and Frank Pineno.

Surviving is his beloved wife Rosalie M. Pineno of 60 years. He is also survived by his children; Joseph Pineno, Michael Pineno and wife Angela and 7 grandchildren, Matthew, Joseph, Anthony, Gianna, Vincent, Daniella and Kristina, as well as many other dear family and friends. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

The mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 22, 10 AM at St. Anthony’s Church, Parish of St. Barbara, 224 Memorial St., Exeter, Msgr. John Sempa, celebrant.

Interment will be on Saturday, October 29 at 10:00 AM in Memorial Shrine Park, Carverton with full military honors.

Friends may call on Saturday, in St. Anthony’s Church, prior to the mass, from 9AM to 10AM.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made in Joseph’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Memorials Processing, 501 St Jude Pl, Memphis, TN 38105-9959 or Disabled American Veterans, 4219 Trindle Rd., Camp Hill, PA 17011.
