JAMES A BUXTON, 77, of Wyoming passed away Thursday at his home.

Born in Kingston he was the son of the late James and Louella (Coolbaugh) Buxton.
James was a 1963 graduate of Wyoming Memorial High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from Mansfield University and a masters from Scranton University. Prior to his retirement he was a Science teacher at Wyoming Area School District for 30 years. James was a lifelong member of Hose Company #2 and was a member of the Wyoming VFW Social Club.

Surviving are two sons: James Buxton and his wife Faith of Bel Air, MD and Jeffrey Buxton and his wife Amanda of Grove City, one sister: Judy Greskiewicz of Dallas.

Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family from the Metcalfe Shaver Kopcza Funeral Home Inc 504 Wyoming Avenue Wyoming.
