DIANE E. WALAITIS, 67, of Harvey’s Lake passed away Friday evening in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp.

Born in Kingston she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Audrey Lamoreaux Earl. She was a graduate of Dallas High School class of 1971 and received her associates degree from LCCC in computer science. Diane was currently employed at Bimbo Bakeries of Pittston Twp. for the past 13 yrs.

Diane was a loving and devoted wife and mother. Being there for her family was her number one priority in life.

Diane was an avid water-skier for the last 50 years. She also enjoyed reading and taking care of her beloved dog, Boots.

In addition to her parents Raymond Earl and Audrey Earl Lord, she was preceded in death by her stepfather Elwood Lord.

Surviving is her husband Anthony of 47yrs; son; Anthony Walaitis III, Harveys Lake; daughter; Heather Petrikonis and her husband Paul of Shavertown; brother; Raymond Earl, Wyoming; sister; Karen Wintersteen and her husband Jack of Warrenton, VA; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family from the Metcalfe Shaver Kopcza Funeral Home Inc 504 Wyoming Avenue Wyoming.
