DAVID M. MATRICCINO, 66, of Falls, passed away peacefully at home on Monday March 8th, 2021.

Born in Freeland Dave was the son of Anthony J. Matriccino Sr. and Alice Mae Domchick Matriccino.

Dave (Rock) was a die-hard New York Yankee and Washington Redskin fan. He enjoyed going to the games as long as it wasn’t too cold. Once the cold came he would say, ‘I can sit here in my nice warm house with a beer and watch the game. Why would I want to go there and freeze my ass off!’

During his time employed at Jack Williams Tire Co. in Moosic, he wore many hats the most recent as Wholesale Director. Dave was instrumental in developing the call center as well as the Hot Shotz delivery program. He believed you did whatever was necessary to keep the customer happy, sometimes working 16 hours a day to get it done. After 31 years of dedicated employment Dave was forced to retire in January 2020 by the company.

Dave met many nice people, customers, and co-workers throughout his journeys. He was always thankful for those who became even closer friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by his wife, Ellen Rosencrance Dymond; children; Carrie (Steve) Ganc, Matthews NC; Jesse (Silver) Matriccino, Charlotte NC; Kelsi Matriccino, Charlotte NC; Christopher (Sherry) Dymond, Falls, Pa; David (Heather) Dymond; Clayton NJ; Desiree Dymond, Wyoming, Pa; granddaughters; Denai and Olivia Dymond; brother; Anthony Matriccino Jr., Freeland, Pa; and sister, Christine Burns, Freeland, Pa.

The family would like to thank Dr. Joseph Radzwilka, Dr. Phillip Savia, Dr. Bruce Saidman, Dr. Michael Glantz, the Commonwealth Home Health Nurses, Sharon B. and Laurie, along with hospice of the Sacred Heart nurse Sara for their great care and support.

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 10am in the Metcalfe Shaver Kopcza Funeral Home Inc 504 Wyoming avenue Wyoming with the Rev. Laura Lewis officiating.

Interment will be in the Mountain View Cemetery, Exeter Twp.

Friends may call Friday 4-6pm in the funeral home.
