Christine A. Hagan

Christine A. (Dovidas) Hagan, 76, of Pittston, formerly of the Brookside section of Wilkes-Barre, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2023, at Allied Services Hospice Center, Wilkes-Barre.

She was born in Wilkes-Barre, daughter of the late Frank and Ella (Fedas) Dovidas. She was a graduate of Coughlin High School, Class of 1964. Christine was employed by the Social Security Administration as a Transcriptionist for Hearings and Appeals. She was a member of the North End Slovak Club, Lithuanian Social & Beneficial Club of Pittston and the Pittston Jacquelines of Knights 55.

Surviving are her children; John Hagan of Pringle, Cindy Hagan (Michael) of Pittston, Brian Hagan (Laura) of York, PA, Angie Mackin (Patrick) of Pittston, sister; Kathy Stella (Larry), 7 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 24, 9:30 AM at Metcalfe Shaver Kopcza Funeral Home, Inc., 504 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming.

Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, February 24, 10:00 AM at Parish of St. Barbara, 224 Memorial St., Exeter.

Interment will be in Saints Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Plains.

Friends and family may call on Thursday, February 23, from 5:00-7:00 PM at Metcalfe Shaver Kopcza Funeral Home, Inc., 504 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming.
