CHARLES F. WILCOX, 80, formerly of Pittston passed away Friday in The Gardens at East Mountain, Plains Twp.

Born April 25, 1940 in Trucksville he was the son of the late William Nelson Wilcox and Clara Geraldine (Morgan) Wilcox. He was educated in the Kingston Twp. schools. Prior to his retirement he was employed at Steck Metal as a truck driver.

He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Family was especially important to him.

Preceding him in death was his wife Shirly Goliash Wilcox and siblings Arthur, Carl, Fred, Betty and Heddie.

Surviving are his children Carl Wilcox; West Pittston; Tina Light, Beaver Meadows; Kimberly Hill, Edwardsville; Brian Crawford, Exeter; brother; Nelson Wilcox, Hanover Twp. Sister-in-law; Francis Mahavits and her husband Robert of Wilkes-Barre; many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Gardens at East Mountain for taking such wonderful care of him. We would like to give a special thank you to his favorite care giver Charlene Van Buskirk who always treated him like family.

Respecting his final wishes funeral services will be at the convenience of the family from the Metcalfe Shaver Kopcza Funeral Home Inc 504 Wyoming Avenue Wyoming.

Interment will be with his wife Shirley.
