CHAD OLIVER November 12, 2021 Chad M. Oliver, 45, of Harding peacefully passed away on Friday, November 12, at his home.

Born in Kingston, son of Charles Oliver and the late Carol L Simoncavage. Chad attended Meyers High School and Fortis Institute where he studied Electrical Engineering. He was employed as a truck driver by Meshoppen Stone.

In addition to his father, he is also survived by his loving daughters, Abigail and Mackenzie Oliver of West Pittston; sister Sandy Hager and her husband Paul of West Pittston, Charles Oliver and wife Tracey of Hunlock Creek; Stacey Pencek (mother of Abigail and Mackenzie) and her husband Gregg, and their brother Robert “Turtle” Gallagher. He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Chad is also survived by all of the families that loved him as one of their own, his friends that reached from coast to coast and his girlfriend, Lisa Lapore. Chad’s greatest love was his children, family and friends.

He was the man that would stop everything to help anyone in need. He could usually be found working on his bike, car or anything mechanical. He loved to spend time with those he loved. He was a great story teller, and had the ability to make the shortest story last forever. Chad loved with all his heart. He was the center of his mother’s life and will have eternal rest in her arms.

The funeral service will be Saturday November 20, 2021 at 11 am at the Metcalfe-Shaver-Kopcza Funeral Home, Inc, 504 Wyoming Ave, Wyoming.

Interment will be be at the convenience of the family in the Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton.

Friends may call Saturday from 9 AM to 11AM. In the funeral home.

A celebration of his life to follow, at his parent’s home in Harding.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, 63 N Franklin Street, Wilkes-Barre, Pa 18701.
