After a long and courageous battle with Leukemia, ALEXIS A. ROSS, 71 of Trucksville passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, February 2, 2021.

Born in Nanticoke, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Agnes (Golias) Nawrocki. She graduated high school from Our Lady of Victory Academy. For many years she was a highly successful hair stylist and owned and operated Alexis Hair Sensations of West Wyoming. She was a member of St. Therese’s Church of Shavertown, EMA of Wilkes-Barre, and the Swoyersville Ambulance. She was also a CPR instructor for the Red Cross and LCCC. She was an avid craft lover and enjoyed painting ceramics the most.

Preceding her in death was a brother, Nicholas Nawrocki.

Surviving is her husband of nearly 40 years Edward Ross; children; Kristi Ross, West Pittston; Katye Fulmer and her husband Scott, Bridgeport, Pa; Kimberly Torres and her husband Rafael, Middletown, Pa; Edgardo Falcon and his wife Annie Lissette of San Juan, Puerto Rico; grandchildren; Brittany Anderson and her husband Eric, and Joseph Bender.

A memorial mass will be held Sunday, April 25 at 8am in St. Therese’s Church 64 Davis Street, Shavertown, Pa 18708

There will be no calling hours.
