Kenneth L. Weiskerger, 85, of Harding passed away Tuesday, March 15.

Raised in West Pittston, son of the late George Weiskerger and Irene Simonson Weiskerger. He was a graduate of West Pittston High School, Class of 1955 and was employed by PP&L for 30 years. Kenneth was a Mason and a Chanter with Irem Temple. He enjoyed coaching mini football and little league girls’ softball and was a Pennsylvania sports fan. He was a member of Dymond Hollow Church where he shared his talent by playing the piano.

Kenny was a kind, thoughtful and tender father, grandfather, and friend. He loved to tell a good joke and dance with his wife of 62 years, Judith Weiskerger. Above all, he was a gentleman and an example of a great man. Kenneth will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Wade Weiskerger, and brothers George and Robert Weiskerger.

Surviving are his four children Lori Sellitto and companion Vincent Volz of Long Pond, Cindy Trudgen and husband Floyd of Dallas, Leslie Weiskerger and Grant Thomas of LaPlume, and Craig and Jodi Weiskerger of Falls. Kenneth will be missed by his 8 grandchildren Taylor, Sadie, Kyle, Nikki, Matthew, Eva, Lily, and Henry.

Memorial contribution can be made in Kenneth’s name to Shriners Hospital, 3551 North Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19140, or a local fire department of the donor’s choice.
