William E. Waters

William Waters of Wyoming, 69, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, in Allied Services Hospice Center Wilkes-Barre.

 William Waters was born in Wyoming, to the late Edward and Phyllis (Aton) Waters.

He graduated from Wyoming Area High School, a Class of 1972. He started his career as a Pipe fitter working through the local 524-Scranton. He was a lifetime member of the Wyoming Hose Company No. 2, and a member of the Peckville Assembly of God Church.

In addition to his parents, William is preceded in death by his beloved companion, Cheryl Wanzie.

Surviving are his siblings, Karen Kowalskie (Donald), Cheryl Breen (William), Edward Waters, niece, nephews, Cheryl's children, Tabitha, Jessica, David and grandchildren.

The Blessing service for William will be held on Sunday, June 23, 5:00 PM at Metcalfe Shaver Kopcza Funeral Home, Inc., 504 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming.
