Thomas E. Fawcett

Thomas E. Fawcett, 60, of Hanover Twp, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 23, 2024, in his home. 

Thomas was born in Montclair, NJ, to John Fawcett and the late Miriam Matthews Fawcett. Thomas graduated from Medfield High School, MA, in 1982 and later went on to earn a degree in computer science from Boston University. Thomas had a long career at Boston University holding director roles in Auxiliary Services (Vending; Parking and Transportation) and Director of Business Development. Moving to Pennsylvania to have a life with his beloved daughter, Christina, Thomas began a career as an insurance broker and had a long, successful career at Reviello’s Insurance Agency in Hazle Township. 

A man who loved creating and learning, Tom strived to learn something new every day, picking up welding and woodcarving in the process, as well as instilling this ideal in his daughter. Tom loved photography as well as the outdoors, hiking and hunting, and was an avid golfer. Most of all, Tom enjoyed spending time with his daughter, Christina, his pride and joy. She will dearly miss cooking, gardening, debating, and watching the New England Patriots with him. 

Thomas is survived by his wife Karen, Shavertown, PA; his daughter, Christina Fawcett, Shavertown, PA; brother, John (Emi) Fawcett of Grafton, MA; sisters, Linda (Adrian) Munoz-Bennett of Medford, MA; Julie Fawcett of Newton, MA; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Metcalfe-Shaver-Kopcza Funeral Home, Inc., 504 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, PA.
