Susan Carney

Susan Grace Carney, 66, of Plymouth, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024, at her home.

Susan was born in Kingston, the late Francis and Lucy (Smith) Jones, Sr.

Susan attended Lake Lehman and Northwest Area Schools.

Susan married Anderson James Carney, Sr., and the couple welcomed children, Joseph, Steven, and James Carney.

Susan was best known for loving her family. She enjoyed fishing, car rides to anywhere, and her precious dogs.

In addition to her parents, Susan was preceded in death by her husband Anderson James Carney, Sr.; son, Joseph; brothers, Frank, and Raymond Jones; and sister Lucy (Dee) Jones.

Susan is survived by sons, Steven Carney of Nicholson, PA; James Carney of Forty Fort, PA; sisters, Rose Jones Grey of Albany, NY; Linda Jones Korbeil of Noxen; her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A luncheon and memorial will be held at the Old Noxen School on Saturday, April 27 from 2-4PM for family and friends to share their memories.

The service for Susan has been entrusted to Nulton Kopcza Funeral Home, 5749 SR 309, Monroe Twp.
