Rose Marie Brown

Rose Marie Brown, 77, of Pittston, transitioned to her eternal home into the arms of the Lord on Feb. 16th.

She was born in Exeter on March 22, 1947 and graduated from West Wyoming High School. She was a beautician for a short time and went on to work in the healthcare field. She later worked for the Chamber of Commerce and became a member of the Pennsylvania Association for the Blind, Exeter.

Rose was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. There was no greater joy in her life than spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She especially loved singing, dancing and telling them stories of her ancestors.

Rose's infectious smile lit up any room she entered. She lived her life to the fullest and gave her heart and soul in everything she did. 

Rose was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion, and unwavering faith in God. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by her.

She is survived by her children, Robert Brown (Tracy), daughter Jacklyn Brown (Beth); grandchildren, Lucas and Emilia Brown and Gabrielle Mori (Jeremy); great-grandchildren, Khloie, Zoey, and Skylar Mori; sisters, Esther Field, Debra Brown (Richard), Jeannie Temple; and several nieces and nephews. Proceeded in death by parents Carl and Esther Guddy; brother Carl Guddy Jr.; and sister Kathleen Bowers.

Friends and family may call Friday, Feb. 21st from 4-6 at Metcalfe Shaver Kopcza Funeral Home, 504 Wyoming Ave, Wyoming. Service to follow.
