Robert A. Pealer

Robert A. Pealer, 85, of Forty Fort, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at his home.

Robert was born in Kingston, to the late Thomas and Muriel (Nelson) Pealer.

He graduated from West Wyoming High School in 1957 and went on to continue his education in the Police Academy. Robert served our country in the Army as a Military Policeman in Germany. He started his career as a State Trooper after the Army, and served in Lancaster and Wyoming for 25 years, before retiring in 1989 from the Wyoming Troop P. Robert was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police ans also a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Church, Swoyersville.

In addition to hunting and fishing, Robert enjoyed sports and excelled in football and basketball in high school. He loved watching the Phillies and Notre Dame football, but his favorite team was the Pittsburgh Penguins. He held season tickets to the AHL Penguins for many years. 

In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Pealer, Jr. 

Robert is survived by his beloved wife Susan Pealer, children, Robert Pealer, Jr. of King of Prussia, Christa Bowman of West Lawn, PA; grandchildren, Robert Pealer, Alicia Luciano, Jacob and Mitchell McCartney, and 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, 10:00 AM from the Metcalfe Shaver Kopcza Funeral Home, Inc., 504 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming with A Mass of Christian Burial, 10:30 AM, St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Parish, Swoyersville.

Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday, January 21 from 9-10 AM at Metcalfe Shaver Kopcza Funeral Home, Inc.

Interment will follow mass at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Carverton.
