MARY F. DERVINIS, 77, Wife, mother, nana, and sister, passed away on Sunday February 28, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Mary was born April 9, 1943 in Boca Raton, Fl. She was the daughter of the late Charles VanCamp and Catherine Brann VanCamp of Wyoming, Pa. Mary graduated in 1960 from Wyoming High School and then in 1961from Wilkes-Barre Business College where she met the love of her life William Dervinis. They later got married in 1962.
During her life she served the church she loved, St. Cecilia’s in Exeter as a Lector, Eucharistic Minister, CCD Teacher, and as part of the Altar and Rosary and the choir. Her greatest legacy in life was the family she built with her husband, Bill. In spite of a brain tumor at age 9, that left her partially paralyzed, she led a full and happy life raising her 3 children, 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents and her brother Charles VanCamp of Apopka, Fl.
She is served by her husband Bill, her sons William and his wife Sherry of Exeter, and Christopher and his wife Laura of Gainesville, Fl; her daughter Colleen Neel and husband Tim, with whom she resided; her grandchildren , Kaylene, Kristin, Garrett, Kiersten, Karyssa, Sarah, Makayla, Will and Abby; her great grandchildren; Emily, Hailey, Kaitlin, Callum, Aubreyana, Talia, Cole, Cade, Meleena and Mia; her brother Edward VanCamp and his wife Elaine of West Wyoming; her sister-in-law Maryann VanCamp of Apopka, Fl, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 11am in St. Monica’s Parish 363 West 8th street West Wyoming with Father Paul A. McDonnell, O.S J. celebrant.
Interment will be held in St. Cecilia’s Cemetery, Exeter
Friends may call Friday 9:30am -11am in the church.
