MARLENE KADELOCK,84, of Beaumont passed away Monday January 25th in Post-Acute Medical Hospital of Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Tunkhannock she was the daughter of the late William and Helen (Fallet) Mitchell. She was a graduate of Tunkhannock High School. For many years she was employed at the Times Leader. Prior to her retirement she was employed at the Citizens Voice where she met her husband Steve.

Marlene enjoyed traveling, fishing, planting her garden, and doing beautiful leather carvings. She loved her little black poodle dog named Ringo. She also had two quarter horses named Tag and Aquarius and loved riding them with her husband in the fall. She watched the Los Angeles Dodgers with her husband every chance she got. She also liked to polka dance and go to the church picnics in the summertime.

Preceding her in death were her sisters Catherine and Joy Mitchell.

Surviving is her husband Stephen; sisters; Sandra Mitchell, Tunkhannock; Linda Kellet, Ocala, Florida; nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 10:30am from the Nulton Kopcza Funeral Home 5749 SR 309(Beaumont) Monroe Twp. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in the Nativity of the Blessed Mary 99 East Tioga Street, Tunkhannock with Rev. Patrick L. Albert celebrant.

Interment will be in the Pieta Cemetery, Tunkhannock.
