Joan C. Dellarte, 92, of Exeter, formerly of Wyoming passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Highland Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation in Exeter.
Joan was born in Forest City, to the late Leon and Charlotte (Puchaty) Galavitz.
She graduated from Wyoming High School in 1949. She went on to become a mill worker at Duplan Silk Corporation, Kingston, PA. Joan was a member of the Fox Hill "Hole In One Club".
Joan was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph Dellarte in 2017.
Joan is survived by her sons, Paul Dellarte and partner Lisa Burick of Kingston; Robert and wife Marlene Dellarte of Larksville; grandchildren, Myles, Leanne, Nina Dellarte; and several nieces and nephews living country-wide.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, April 29, 9AM, from Metcalfe Shaver Kopcza Funeral Home, Inc., 504 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 9:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, Corpus Christi Parish, 605 Luzerne Ave., West Pittston.
Relatives and friends may call on Sunday, April 28, 5:00-7:00 PM at Metcalfe Shaver Kopcza Funeral Home, Inc., 504 Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming.
Interment will follow mass at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Carverton.
