James Irvin Hanna, Jr

James Irvin Hanna Jr, 54, of Noxen PA, now rests in the arms of his Lord and Savior. After a long and courageous health battle, surrounded by his family Jim went to his heavenly home on April 1st, 2024. 

Jim was born on January 1, 1970, to Gail Vieczorek and James Hanna Sr. in Tunkhannock, PA. He was a 1987 Graduate of Tunkhannock Area High School and received a degree in Aeronautical Instrumentation at the Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa, OK. 

Jim met and married his wife, Juliet (Whipple) Hanna in 1991 and would have celebrated their 33rd anniversary in August. He was a wonderful father to their four children and much beloved Opa to his nine grandchildren. Jim loved the Lord and was a member of the Noxen Bible Baptist Church. He enjoyed worshiping and being as involved as his health would allow with his church family. 
Jim was a strong fighter and gave everything he could to enrich the lives of his family. We draw peace from knowing that he is now free from pain and made whole by the mercy and grace of God. 

He is survived by his wife, Juliet of Noxen, Pa, Daughter Amanda Miller (Lyndsey) of 
Tunkhannock, PA, Daughter Gabrielle Hanna of Noxen, Pa, Son Dallas Hanna (Samantha 
Furman) of Noxen, Pa and son Christopher Hanna (Danielle) of Dallas, PA. Grandchildren 
Camdyn, Aria, RaeLynn, Killian, Anastasia, Arabella, Greyson, Finneas and Bridyn. Mother 
Gail Vieczorek of Tunkhannock, PA, Father James Hanna Sr (Catherine) of Bluffton, SC, five sisters, two brothers and numerous twenty-one nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by Granddaughter Elise Faith Hanna and Stepfather John Vieczorek Sr. 

Visitation and viewing service will be held April 5th from Noon to 2pm at the Noxen Bible 
Baptist church, 3604 State Rte 29 S, Noxen, with celebration service beginning at 2pm.

Interment will be immediately following the service at Orcutt Cemetery Noxen, PA. 

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations toward the final expenses.
