Helen A (Schoonover) Frantz, a longtime resident of Kunkle passed away at the age of 99 on Friday, January 6, 2023.

She was born in Centermoreland, one of nine children of the late Draper Schoonover and Ruth Besteder Schoonover. Helen was a 1941 graduate of Dallas High School. She was employed by Dallas School District and Offset Paperback. Helen was an extremely caring person who would lend a hand and open her door to anyone in need.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two oldest sons Richard and Tom Frantz.

She is survived by children Gladys Habeeb, Gary Frantz and his wife Mary, Basil Frantz and Raymond Frantz, grandchildren Brian Crispell (Dana), John Crispell (Karen), Richard Frantz, and Joey Frantz (Ashleigh). She had 9 great grandchildren.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Nulton Kopcza Funeral Home, 5749 S.R. 309, Monroe Twp.

Interment will be in Perrins Marsh Cemetery, Centermoreland.
