Harold M. Hoover, 93, of Franklin Twp. passed away Friday in the Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Dallas.

Born in West Pittston, Harold was the son of the late Kenneth and Eleanor Swartwood Hoover. He was a graduate of West Pittston High School class of 1948. Harold was a member of the Orange United Methodist Church. He was also member of the Franklin Twp. Fire Department and Ambulance where he held various offices and involved in many activities. He was a Franklin Twp. supervisor. Harold was employed at Air Products and retired after many years of employment.

Preceding him in death was his wife, the former Myrtle Pascoe Hoover, son Harold, brothers, Kenneth, Herbert, Howard, and sister Eleanor Ruth, son-in-law John.

Surviving is his daughter Donna Szczucki, Franklin Twp., grandchildren; Amanda Schirillo, (Tony Schirillo), Sarah Szczucki, Elizabeth Hoover, Eric Hoover and great granddaughter Isabella Schirillo; daughter-in-law Linda Hoover, Dallas; brother; Ernie Hoover and his wife Janice, Florida; sister; Evelyn Rottgen, Florida; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family from the Metcalfe Shaver Kopcza Funeral Home Inc 504 Wyoming Avenue Wyoming.

Interment will be in Perrins Marsh Cemetery, Northmoreland Twp.

There will be no calling hours.
