Geraldine H. Brown, 78, of Dallas passed into eternal life on Friday, October 1, 2021. She bravely fought a yearlong battle with cancer.

Born in Pringle, daughter of the late Michael and Helen (Ostrum) Novak. She was employed for over 30 years at Konefal’s restaurant in Edwardsville. Geraldine (Geri) enjoyed going to Mohegan Sun Casino, playing Scratch off, daily number and spending time with family. She was loved by all and will be sadly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Evan R. Brown, grandchildren; Raymond Perry and Jason Brown, sisters; Arlene Whiting, Genevieve Brown and MaryAnn Dunbar.

Geri is survived by her loving sons Terry A. and Evan R. Brown of Dallas, daughter Marcy Perry and husband Joseph of Sweet Valley, and numerous grandchildren.

Geraldine is also survived by her brothers Michael, Jerome and James Novak.

The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice of the Sacred Heart for their support during this difficult time.

As per Geraldine’s wishes there will be no funeral or memorial services.
