George F. Paskaitis

He was born in Ashley, to the late George and Steffie (Plensky) Paskaitis. George graduated from Ashley High School and started his career as a machinist in the Tool-Die industry. He went on to work for Ashley Machine & Tool for many years until his retirement. George was proud to have built the doors used on the Apollo spacecraft. He also served in the United States Army. George was a member of the White Ash Land Association of Mildred, PA.
In addition to his parents, George was predeceased by his beloved wife, Beverly (Warke) in 2001, and his sister Irene Stephenson.
George is survived by his children, Steven (Anna) Paskaitis of Meshoppen; Derek (Vanessa) Paskaitis of Harrisburg, grandchildren, Ashley, Steven and Nicholas Paskaitis, and great-grandchildren Kaylee Heeman and Jordan Paskaitis.
The Blessing service for George Paskaitis will be held on Friday, April 5, 10:00 AM at Metcalfe Shaver Kopcza Funeral Home, Inc. 504 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming.
Relatives and friends may call on Friday, April 5 from 9AM until the time of the Blessing at Metcalfe Shaver Kopcza Funeral Home, Inc. 504 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming.
Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton.
