Emma Ragugini, 96, of Wyoming, passed away Tuesday, January 18 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre.
She was born in Wyoming, daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Hoffman. Emma, often referred to as Amy, attended West Wyoming High School and went on to work numerous occupations, with waitressing being her favorite among them. Emma had a vivacious personality, and she brought that joy to every room and every conversation. She was generous with her time and made a point to talk and laugh with anyone lucky to have made her acquaintance.
Emma was preceded in death by her beloved husband Angelo; her son, Raymond Hines; her sister Betty and husband Bernard Buchman; her brother John and wife Elva Hoffman; her brother Robert and wife Lillian Hoffman; her brother Donald and wife Sherly Hoffman; first husband Raymond Hines; grandson David Lewis.
She is survived by daughters: Sandra Lewis and Karen Cefalo; daughter-in-law Diane Hines; grandchildren: Christopher and wife Anna Cefalo; Kimberly and husband John Donahue; Ronald Hines; great granddaughter Keira Donahue.
