Eileen Michele (Crispell) Bean of Eustis, Florida, formerly of Noxen, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at the At Home Care facility, on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at the age of 79 years.
She was born in Hartford, Connecticut and was the daughter of the late Earl and Helen (Traver) Crispell.
Eileen graduated from Lake Noxen High School and became an administrative secretary for IBM in New Brunswick, NJ. After her 10-year career at IBM she returned to her hometown of Noxen, PA where she and her husband, Tom, owned and operated Galka-Bean Sanitation, for another 10 years, before she retired.
Eileen was a lifelong member of the St. Luke’s Reformation Lutheran Church. She also volunteered at the Schenck Memorial Library, as well as the Noxen Clothes Closet.
Eileen was predeceased by her husband Elvin (Tom) Bean; brothers Earl Jr. and Elvin; and sister-in-law Nancy Crispell.
She is survived by her only son, Thomas Bean; brother Frank Edward Crispell and sister-in-law Grace Crispell; and many loved nieces and nephews.
The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 10, 10AM at Nulton Kopcza Funeral Home, 5749 S.R. 309, Monroe Twp., with calling hours 5-7 PM on Friday, June 9 at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Orcutt Grove Cemetery, Noxen.
