CHARLES H. SMITH, 92, of Carverton passed away Saturday morning in Highland manor Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Exeter.

Born in Wyoming he was the son of the late Harry and Anna Uttrodt Smith. He was a graduate of Wyoming Memorial High School class of 1946. Some of the places he worked were Jenkins Hardward, Ulco Eltronics, and AFM Power Equipment. Prior to his retirement he was a power equipment salesman employed by Moss Machinery/Konopinski. At one time Charles enjoyed playing guitar with the country and western band called The Westeners.

Preceding him in death was his wife Jeanne Hudson Smith, stepdaughter Loreen Smith, sister Catherine Wagner and brothers Elmer and Willis Smith.

Surviving is a stepdaughter Yvonne Rich, Newark Valley, NY; nieces and nephews; Harry Smith, Carverton; David Smith, Dallas; Robert Smith, Delaware, Ohio; Tracey Wagner, Vernon, CT; Jean Smith, West Wyoming; Sharon Wagner Kulo, Tolland, CT

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10am in the Metcalfe Shaver Kopcza Funeral Home Inc 504 Wyoming Avenue Wyoming with Pastor Carol Folk officiating.

Interment will be in the Memorial Shrine Cemetery, Carverton

Friends may call Wednesday 9-10am.
