Beverly J. Haas

Beverly Haas, 81, of Inkerman, passed away on Thursday January 25, 2024, in Kingston Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

She was born in West Wyoming to the late Howard and Rena Eyet Posten. She attended West Wyoming High School. Beverly was employed by Consolidated Cigar Company in W. Pittston and Pittston Area Dress Factories. She was a member of the ILGWU-International Ladies Garment Workers Union, and an Elder in the Inkerman Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her parents, Beverly is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 62 years, William, brothers Howard and Elmer Posten, sisters, Althea Brockway, Gladys Jones, Edith Jackson and Shirley Dezinski.

Beverly is survived by children, Beverly Ann Pomaville (Ron) of Myrtle Beach, SC, William Haas, Jr. (Linda) of Parsons, Rena Wright (David) of Trucksville, Diana Mosher (William), of Binghamton, NY, Julia Haas (Barry Lore) of West Nanticoke; sister, Ruth Stess. She will be missed by her 8 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.

The services for Beverly will be at the convenience of the family.
