BERNARD “BUD” DORSHEFSKI, 83, entered eternal rest on November 3, after losing his fight with Covid-19.

For the past seven years Bud was a resident at Bonhams Nursing Home, Stillwater, Pa. Bud was an avid hunter, camper, and outdoorsman. He worked at Berwick Forge and Fabrication for many years. He was then self employed until his retirement. Over the years he helped to raise and foster 29 children.

Bud was preceded in death by his parents John and Ruth Dorshefski, step-mother Elsie Kivler Dorshefski, brother John Dorshefski and son-in-law Mitchell Birely

Surviving are his former wife Jean Dorshefski, Hunlock Creek; daughter; Linda Birely of South Carolina; son; Bill Dorshefski and his wife Laura of Hunlock Creek; Ken Dorshefski and his wife Tina, Hunlock Creek; nephew; Stan Dorshefski and his wife Maria of Huntington Mills; 11 grandchildren and spouses and 36 great grandchildren.

During this difficult time no services are scheduled. The family wishes to plan a celebration of Bud’s Life in the future.
