Judith Weiskerger, 81 of Harding passed away Tuesday, April 12. Raised in Dymond Hollow, daughter of Eleanor “Emmie” Dymond and Jay Price. She was a graduate of West Pittston High School, class of 1958.
Judi’s love of dancing led to her becoming a dance instructor, and her talented sewing creations were enjoyed by those who had the good fortune to wear them. She helped coach girls softball alongside her husband and cherished her experience driving special needs children for Wyoming Area. She was an active member of the Irem Temple Auxiliary where she enjoyed her Thursday afternoon card club with friends.
Judith was a wonderful, loving, wife, mother and grandmother. She was a beautiful person inside and out; a classy lady who offered thoughtful wisdom and advice to many, and whose husband still called her his “doll baby” after 62 years of marriage. Judi, was someone that others looked up to and would do well to emulate.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth and her son, Wade Weiskerger.
Surviving are her four children, Lori Sellitto and companion, Vincent Volz, Long Pond; Cindy Trudgen and husband, Floyd, Dallas; Leslie Weiskerger and Grant Thomas, La Plume; and Craig and Jodi Weiskerger, Falls. Judi will be missed by her eight grandchildren, Taylor, Sadie, Kyle, Nikki, Matthew, Eva, Lily and Henry.
